About Echoes of Earth
Echoes of Earth is India's Greenest Circular Music Festival. With a footfall of over 20000+ people for it's 8th edition, featuring 30+ global artists including Monolink, Bedouin, Submotion Orchestra and others, digital communication is of supreme importance for a successful leg.
Each year an internationally renowned artist is commissioned to create a detailed artwork that represents the theme of the year. For 2025, the theme was - The Sixth Sense, telling the story of nature's hidden intelligence. The theme revolved around unspoken and subtle patterns hidden in nature that display almost supernatural behaviour by all it's contributors, such as the dung beetle which navigates in sync with the north star, the axolotl with it's regenerative capabilities, the architecturally superior beaver and more than 30 other species with their unique individual super-capabilities.
After breaking down the thematic design into individual layers, a digital workflow starts.
We then start to make communication on and around the topic for every possible case - whether that's the schedule of the festival, the individual artist spotlights, the lineups, merch, on-ground communication and everything in between.
Arriving at the final lineup design includes periodical back and forth, with constant changes/addition/removal of artists. During this process, the textual artwork keeps evolving. During the final stages, we make sure that all the names combined are easy to read and are presented aesthetically. This is a major artwork that attracts festival-goers.

The Lineup for 2025

We then move on to pairing each artist with a set of animal species from the thematic design. These animal pairings are vetted by WWF, upholding the festival's commitment to bring conservation information to attendees and the broader audience. A detailed audit in terms of where an animal is placed, their immediate landscapes and their anatomy is carried out. The artist spotlights turn into colorful display sets highlighting the artist and a combination of species.
Artist Spotlights for the 2025 edition
Handling the full digital communication spectrum comes next. We also worked on a lot of print collateral including invites, cards, badges, certificates for volunteers.
Due to NDAs and other bindings, not all work has made it to this page.
Different parts of the thematic design are stitched together to create the visuals.
The thematic breakdown talks about the artist's vision and unique facts linked to each coverage.
The digital solutions also included the design of a separate webpage to streamline applications. Through this web portal, massive numbers of queries were handled, registration data collected, in turn creating a seamless web to live experience.
